Dr. Newberg has been featured in several major media, including Newsweek, Time, National Geographic, Discover, The New York Times, O, The Oprah Magazine, Los Angeles Times, The Observer (London), Forbes, The Washington Post, The Philadelphia Inquirer and Reader’s Digest. He has appeared on The Dr. Oz Show, StarTalk with Neil deGrasse Tyson, Good Morning America, Nightline, 20/20, CNN and ABC World News Tonight, as well as in the nationally distributed films What the Bleep Do We Know?, Bill Maher’s Religulous, and Awake: The Life of Yogananda.

About the Speaker

Dr. Newberg is a neuroscientist, the director of research at the Marcus Institute of Integrative Health, and a physician at Jefferson University Hospital. He is a pioneer in the field of neurotheology.
Newberg’s publications include 14 books, which have been translated into 17 languages, and over 250 peer-reviewed articles and chapters on brain function, brain imaging, and the study of religious and mystical experiences. He was listed as one of the 30 Most Influential Neuroscientists Alive Today by the Online Psychology Degree Guide.
